A water-based lubricant for gravity and low pressure diecasting of aluminium and copper-based alloys. It is supplied as a thick paste and needs dilution with soft water to the desired level. On spraying on the die face, it forms a lubricating film thus causing good casting release.
DIEDRESS – V 55
A black coloured heavy-duty die coating also used as plunger lubricant. It is swabbed on the die face, cores and core pins, which ensures better release of the casting as well as prevents die from erosion. When applied on the plunger of high-pressure diecasting machines, it lubricates the moving hot piston thus increasing life of piston. The diedressing is well suited for large automobile castings as well as rotor castings.
DIEDRESS – V 66
A silvery black coloured thick paste to be used on die face. It is either swabbed or sprayed on the die face. It imparts a smooth and shining surface finish to aluminium casting.
DIEDRESS – A 22
A white coloured die lubricant, to be used after diluting with soft water. The recommended dilution is 1 part of die lubricant to 100 parts of soft water
